Excursions and trips to local sites of interest  – There are many scenic places to visit during your stay.  Oludeniz Beach with its Blue Lagoon is a must. The Dalyan Delta Rock tombs with a relaxing river trip to the beach, a great lazy day.  12 Island boat trips are a wonderful way to see the coastline and top up the tan!  Jeep safari is another exciting day out seeing historical sites of the region; lunch is taken in the mountains and a visit to Patara Beach notorious as one of the longest beaches in Turkey.  Pamukkale, Ephesus offer site of antiquity that a re truly amazing.  Other activities to keep you occupied during your holiday include: Para-gliding, horse riding, diving, truck safari and many more.  If you fancy a day in Rhodes then we can organise that for you too. 

Car Hire – With all these fantastic places to go and see, hiring a car gives you the freedom to go where you want when you want.  We can arrange car hire for you for just one day or for the whole duration of your stay.

Driving – Driving in this area is very relaxed and in no way can it be compared with driving in the UK or mainland Europe.  Traffic is light all along the coastal region and traffic jams are non existent.  This is not Istanbul or Ankara or any of the other large cities.  Don’t believe all that is written about Turkish Drivers.!! Accidents happen everywhere and it is just unfortunate that the UK press focus with great emphasis on the unfortunate occasions when these happen. We personally have always felt safe due to the lack of traffic.  The roads are good in the summer but they can become uneven due to melt down from the sun softening the bitumen binding.  Where the surface is older or smooth caution is advised in any rain as the surfaces can become very slippery by comparison to your homeland roads.  This should not deter any competent driver and driving around is most definitely the best way to make the most of your time in the region.

Painting, Decorating & Maintenance – Having have just made the one of the biggest decisions to buy a second home and bought your property, whether through GÖCEK ESTATE MANAGEMENT or another company, we will be happy to carry out decorations, maintenance or renovation work to your specifications.  You discuss your needs whether it be arranging colour schemes internal/external we will arrange and manage it to your satisfaction.  We can arrange for the use of traditional Turkish hand-made crafts to enhance your property. We specialise in antique wood work and have skilled carpenters who will carry out your requirements.

Furnishing - We have successfully furnished several properties to the new owners satisfaction based on their tastes, with everything from beds, wardrobes to patio furniture, crockery and kitchen utensils and white goods.  Essentially we can arrange for everything to be in place, ready for you to next visit to your new property.  If you are domiciled in the UK or mainland Europe then we photograph the required items and email them to your perusal and agreement to ensure you are satisfied with the product and price. You will be fully involved! No purchases will be made without your written agreement.

Legal Services – For all aspects of purchasing property in Turkey we have an English speaking solicitor, who is available to assist with preparation of contracts and other necessary legal documents.  For other legal requirements a consultation can be arranged, wills etc.  UK and European law differs to that of Turkish law and certain measures need to be in place to ensure the property is dealt with in accordance with your wishes and Turkish law.

Importation – Thinking to move to Turkey??  Need help with importing your cargo? We can offer our import cargo services to make the experience of moving to a new country as smooth as possible. Importing personal goods and items into Turkey can be more frustrating due to import restrictions and process in Turkey and can be the source of considerable frustration to the unwary.  It is highly recommended that you consult with a Turkish importer before goods are conveyed to Turkey.  Their advice and expertise will save time, effort, frustration and most important of all your money

Residency Visa and Work Permit – Should you plan to become resident in Turkey you will require a residency visa. We are available to help with the administration to ensure an easy and stress free procurement.  Also to work in Turkey it is necessary to obtain a work permit, this can be a complicated procedure. Please ask for further information.  Working in Turkey without the necessary documents could if caught put you in prison.

Mobile Phones - Turkish GSM Line -   Should you desire a mobile phone during your stay in Turkey.  It is cheaper to obtain a Turkish SIM card for your personal phone.  Turkish rates are cheaper than UK or European rates and this will save your money in preference to using your national line.
